To put movies on your PSP, make sure they are copied onto your MEM Stick Pro Duo. Formats acceptable were .AVI and MPEG-2.

I was googling it and they were talking about creating a new file on my MC when I put it in my computer than upload the movies to it, but it doesn't work.

You can't use Avi, only format that it accepts is .mp4. I use PSP Video 9, it usually converts any format without problems.

I also suggest using psp video 9, it's very easy. When they are converted copy them to your psp, they must be in a folder named "VIDEO".
