You can't play any other classic games other than the 20 preinstalled games. There's no online functionality or access to PSN so say bye to downloading ps1 from PSN. Cash grab

You can question the price but it ain't no cash grab based on this. Why in the world were your expectations so high?

I'll be the first to admit the PSX classic should have had 25 games, even if it did raise the price ten or twenty dollars, But it isn't a cash grab by any stretch of the imagination.

People need to do the math before calling this a cash grab. The price is actually quite reasonable. Whether YOU want it or have any use for it is a different story entirely. But go buy a PS1 and 15 games and two controllers for that price - and you'll still get shit visuals on an HDTV. This will offer a substantially better image for a good price. Period.

I don't want it, and won't get it. But that doesn't render me incapable of objective assessment

@xantufrog: It is quite easy to get hold of an older CRT TV, at least here in the UK anyway

Does anyone know if they've announced more of the games which will be on it yet?

I pre-ordered it £80 :O. Imagine if they did announce in the end that more games will be added it be triple price and very rare later down the line.

Yeah that's why these things are kind of dumb. They should just release game collections on the modern consoles. Plus then you'd be able to use the friggin' analog sticks and the rumble feature. Makes me wonder if they uncovered a bunch of old PSX controllers in a warehouse somewhere.
