PSP Core (Piano Black) Release Date

I just checked Play-Asia.com and their psp slim core pack is going to be in stock September 20th.

So i'm assuming this must mean the US release date must be sometime between September 10th and the 20th. Or shortly after the Daxter pack release.

I'm guessing Sony's early release of the Daxter Pack was just to increase the hype on the psp slim. Makes totally sense... Ship the more "expensive" pack 5 days early, people go crazy, can't wait any longer so they go to their local Best Buy/Target Store, buy it = Profits for Sony!!!

UPDATE: I just called my local EBgames and talked with a different employee this is what he said:

Yes we are expecting the new black PSP Core Monday. But we don't have the release date, call us tomorrow and we should have more information.

I'll call them again tomorrow and post any new updates.

Also I've looked at the forums for black PSP Core on www.amazon.com and it looks like everyone who ordered it when the release date was the 10th , their order information is still showing that it will ship on September 10th, so we are thinking that Amazon just sold out of their first shipment. And the new release date is simply their next shipment of PSP's.

What in Canada and/or UK?

I went to 2 targets and 1 toys-r-us today and all they have is the Silver... I had the silver for a week but took it back because I bought a 4 gig stick for 30 bucks... and didn't need the 1gig one... I hope they come out next Monday in the US...

Nah in aus, maybe its cause they didnt release the daxter pack here
