PSP & PSN - noob getting a psp is hella confused - needs help!

Hi all,

I'm getting a psp (3000) and was wondering how I would get downloadable games from the psn store onto it (not getting the GO as I have already have bought some physical games). I tried browsing the forums and looking at the sony website but couldn't find any clear, concise information, so I'm appealing to the help of the community; you guys. Ok here goes:

1) I have a wireless network at home. Do I just access the network from the psp unit and then go to the psn store to buy games? or:

2) Do I have to link my psp to my PC and download the games onto my PC and transfer it to my psp? or:

3) The same as above but using a ps3 instead (though I haven't got a ps3 yet)?

If anyone has got any other information such as what features are avaiable if I get a PS3 as well that would be great too. Thanks in advance guys.

Well you can do all options I think, but I at least know you can access wifi with your psp so you can download them directly.

I do option 1 with my PSP 3000 - but any will work!
