PSP 3000 - Should I wait?

Alot of people are reporting on the web that the psp 4000 will hit shelves by the end of this year. Sony has never offically said that a psp 4000 is even on the horizon, so my question is this:

What is the most logical option when buying a psp? Get a Go! and hope they release more of the UMD titles for download on the playstation network overtime, wait and see if a 4000 is coming soon? or get a another psp 3000 and hope the new one won't have the funky scan lines that annoyed me so much in my last device?

PSP owners have all of you guys had the interlacing issues with your psp 3000's?

The 2000 didn't have interlacing troubles, but I would say get a 3000 and a big ol' memory card to go with it and you will have the best of all possible worlds.

Once again ston3 beat me to the "right" advice! Agree with what he said. I have a 3000 and a 16gb duo stick and love it 8)

which one is better deal the psp core or the rock band bundle? lets say the psp core is $119 and the rockband bundle is $150, which one is a good buy?anbu-black-ops

That bundle comes with a 4G memory stick (standard is 2G), and it has "Rock Band Unplugged". The memory card alone is a good deal, but do you want RBU? If so then yes it's a good deal!!!
