PS5 External HD space limit.

Hiya.

Like it says in the title, does anyone know what the size limit is for the PS5 external HD.

Both my PS4/5 have run out of space, however, i'm thinking of putting my PS4 5TB with the PS5 for now while i get the 8TB for the PS4. I'm not sure what the size limit is for the PS5 atm and was wondering if anyone knows.

I actually have a 5TB external hard drive and my brother wanted to use it so I let him. It was a Seagate brand and wasn't compatible with the PS5. So I gave him a Toshiba 1TB external hard drive and it worked with the system. I was able to use the 5TB on my PS4 and Series S as both picked it up. Not sure about PS5 to be honest.
