How come my ps3 won't turn on? It use to turn on and then I moved to a house and pluged it in. It won't turn on anymore. I made sure it's pluged in correctly. It's the new slim model. Is there a reset button or something? I checked and there's no reset button or switch nothing.

Have you linked it to another TV this time? Maybe one that is only SD while the console itself is setted on HD? If ir if not, try pushing and holding the Power Button for 10 Seconds until the PS3 beeps 3 time, with that you will reset it to it's basic status (you won't lose any saved date except for background pic), maybe this helps. If it still doesn't turn on, you might indeed have an electronic corpse.

I tried holding the power button for 10 seconds and it still doesn't turn on. I hooked it up to the same tv. My tv is brand new it's a flate srceen LCD I think. This sucks I paid like 300$ for it brand new like 2 years ago.

I don't like it when my electronics don't work. It makes me cranky.

Strange... you came here first, instead of trying a different outlet. Or at least the same outlet that your TV was plugged into.
