PS3 titles have horrible online?? why?

I have recently bought army of 2, rb6 vegas 2, and MLB 08 the show, and all of these games have terrible servers. I don't understand why the developers can't make a decent online server?

It is not my internet, or router settings, I regularly use the internet through my PS3 and there is never a problem. They need to get their act together!!

Maybe you have crappy internet?

I havent experienced lag, except from CoD4. and some sport games.

blame it on the developers bc i know plenty of ps3 games with amazing online with never any lag while supporting mass amounts of players with excellent features and communication...it's just happens to be 1st party games R:fom and warhawk

Those games you just listed I believe don't use dedicated servers. I could be wrong though because I think MLB The Show uses them. Remember also, your internet has nothing to do with playing online with PSN (even though you need a fairly strong connection), because you can use the PS3 internet browser w/o signing in.

I've found the PSN to be better at the nuts and bolts stuff of online gaming than Live for me.

Not saying Live is terrible, but when a free service outperforms a paid service, I think that's pretty good.

WOOOOW I am on RSV2 right now and I have never seen shut sh***y online before, I dont know what is going on but they need to fix this, or I am on my way to return this tomorrowmffmiguel

Played all those games and never had an issue, you have bad a internet service or a bad router. If everyone isn't having the problem collectively then it is you my friend.

lol, PSN has an outstanding connection.
Resistance, Motorstorm, and Warhawk- are huge, fast, and have no lag.

it's the games you have were poorly optimized.

The only PS3 game I've played online with any problems was COD4 and my connection's just fine (cause I play PC games online aswell)

Though I'm not a fan of sports titles unless it's offline multiplayer, so I don't really touch those (I'm rather novice at those type of games cause the genre doesn't interest me much, so I would be stomped online with ease)

Well go play the "other" console troll...the PSN online servers are fine...if anything, it's your connection...
