1) Do you think the 40GB SKU is a waste compared to the 80GB?

2) Do you know if retail stores still sell 60GB models?

3) Do you see a price drop and/or new SKU for any of the models?

4) I was considering the 80GB because I thought there might be a 50-100$ price drop from now til' June but now with the new SKU rumor I think the price is going to stay the same.

5) Also to the people that know or have a DS3, does it charge the same way your SixAxis charges or is batteries?

6) Also if the new bundle comes with a DS3, am I obligated to purchase a Sixaxis controller? is it worth it? or just keep on going with the DS3s?

7) And the DS3s will be black correct? I prefer black over white for my console colors.

I'll post more if I have other questions.

Thanks.

If you want backwards compatibility get 80GB if not get 40GB, DS3 charges the same way but I think it has a longer lifespan, if I were you I'd get a 40GB and use the money you save to buy games

1) Yes.

2) Some sell it new. Some used.

3) Maybe to get rid of the 80GB stock if they're just sitting around when the higher models come.

4) ????
PROFIT!!

5) yes

6) DS3 can do all that the sixaxis can. Just get another DS3 if you need 2-players.

7) yes. racist. :p

Im only going to answer the 1st question because it is the only one I actually care about.

The 40gig SKU is anything but a waste. I know many people who have bought either the 60gig or 80gig and say they wish they had known the 40gig was coming out.

The fact that it uses a different cooling system and modified chipset is enough to drive any techy towards it.

2 USB ports means jack to alot of people (including me)

And the lack of backwards compatibility. I buy a console for the new games, not for some old retro piece of trash. I have experienced those games, and I have also experienced their evolution. So there is no reason to go back.

Do you think its a waste to get two PS3s?

My brother might get the 80GB for his birthday, but then he'll probably put it in his room.

I was thinking I'm working from now until' June maybe I'll just buy my own 40GB because its a bit cheaper, and if I ever want to play the occasional PS2, I'll play it on his PS3.

Bad idea, or not?

Not a bad idea. There has been many people that has got a 2nd PS3. Plus once you or your brother move to another place, you will have your own PS3, not depending on your brother's.

You ask a lot of questions, this is like thread #3 of tons of questions, you lazy or something?

1) Nope, if 40gb isn't enough, you can upgrade the HDD

2) In Canada a couple have remaining stock

3) You asked this all ready, and everyone said no, it's still no

4) It won't go down in price.

5) Same way the 6axis does, USB cord

6) DS3 is the same as the sixaxis, except it shakes

7) Black or White
