ok, os i have been trying ofr osme time to get my computer and PS3 to connect, for some reason, they wont. It can find all the computer in the house but mine and my ps3 and computer are right next to each other and are both wireless *obvious with the ps3 but still* lol... could it be a setting on my computer that is preventing it or somthing? please help and thanks :D

The PS3 will only connect to an access point, so unless your computer is the one with the wireless router, it won't connect to your computer. Just wondering, but why does it matter anyway?
and i don't know if this qualifies as a router but i have a spall box with an antenna thing sticking from the top and a small light that flashes green with connected plugged into my computer lol

Yeah, that's a router ... and if they're right next to each other, why not use a wired connection?
well, there is no connection spot to the router and i tried to connect it to my computer and changed thesetting so wireless and that didn't work, it wouldn't even connect so, yea.... i don't know what to do lol
Ok, I just solved this problem on Windows 7 64bit. In the Network and Sharing settings. Click on "Advanced Sharing Settings" There is an option in there called MEDIA STREAMING. Enable that option, and if that does not work click on "choose media streaming options" and in there is a list of connactable devices. Make sure they are on 'allow' and there ya go. All connected. ^_^
