Hello, I'm thinking about buying the PS3 40 GB console in about 3-6 months, but the problem is every time I walk into a retailer they don't seem to be selling them. So I was just wondering has the 40 GB model died out? Or am I not looking hard enough. If they still are selling the 40GB model how much is the RRP?

Hello I bought a 40 GB ps3 last summer for less that 300 pounds. I think they have died out in the UK as for roughly that same price you can buy the 80GB console of amazon.

You should probably look on ebay or amazon, in 3-6months the price will have gone down so the RRP right now doesnt matter.

I already have PS3 40 GB and I say:''Don't bother yourself with this castrate.:( I'm still regretting that couldn't wait a bit longer and buy 80 GB because it has more options. Of course I'm glad that I at least have a PS3 - no matter what kind but I must say that 40 GB could be in Internet shops. If you really wanna get it then keep looking harder. A BOY IS LOOKING FOR A SMALL CANDY WHEN THERE IS BIGGER CANDY RIGHT BEHIND HIM;)

I have a 40GB , it is great but i wished i had waited for the 80GB because price wise they are now almost the same. Anyway, you can buy my 40GB if you are that determined to get one, then i can buy the 80GB. Happy xmas.

Why wouldt you only want 40 GB? Get 80, even if you cant afford it right now, you'll be happier in the long run. Trust me, I have 40...
