I want to transfer the old saves (only one really) from my ps2 mem card to my PS3, but everything I read said you have to buy the transfer adapter. I was hoping to avoid that

I'm sure this has been answered several times, but I could go dig in the forum or just ask again....

I was kinda thinking that maybe there would be a way to get the saves onto my PSP then onto my PS3, but I really have no clue....

I suppose eventually those adapters will be really cheap....

the only way would be if someone has the save file in the correct format (.psv i think).

Then you can copy it over with a usb drive and it should work.

What game save are you looking for?

From what I've heard I think you do need to buy the memory card adapter. They're not that expensive, though, and it's far less complicated than other means of transferring your data.

Or just give yourself a challenge - create an internal memory card and start the game all over again!
