PS2 games you'd like to see make a comeback on PS3.....

Hey, guys. I currently have a PS2 game collection of over 60 games, and its constantly growing (thanks to eBay). As I'm looking through them and can't help feeling like some of them really got the shaft as far as sequels go. Some of them I'd just like to see on PS3. Some of them are already here or on their way (MGS, KZ, GoW; to name a few). I was just wondering if there are any games on the PS2 that you thought were great and deserve a nice next-gen sequel. Anybody?

I have quite a few, but I may end up naming them all and not leave any room for you guys to answers. :D

So, I'm going to go with Beyond Good and Evil, because that game was just all around fun. Also, Psi-Ops (remember that!?). I loved that game for the (at the time) innovative gameplay that utililzed kenetic powers and what not. I think a game like that would really excell with today's physics engines's capabilities. They may have to work on the story a bit, though. Also One. And last but not least.... Twisted Metal. Sweet Tooth in HD.... Do I really have to explain??

Crash Bandicoot. They were the best games on the PS1. On the PS2 they were OK but I would really like to see a sequel for it.

I though the first Onimusha was wicked I had fun playing headhunter 2 Timesplitters was good, but cba with another FPS Last one i can think of is Jack & Daxter, only played the original but it was brilliantbrummydude

I agree Nice 2 games series... Now if PS3 bring this back and take their time creating it, I think it would be pretty good

Okami, Killer 7 and Psychonauts.

Partly because they're all some of my favourite games ever... and partly because they all have very distinctive art styles that would look incredible if they were done with the PS3 hardware in mind. (I didn't play Okami until well into this generation and was still gawping in awe at the visuals. I couldn't imagine how awesome a current gen version would look...)It's a shame that sequels to these games will likely never come. :(

I would love to see the Shin Megami Tensei series continue on the PS3.

Heck yeah! Recently replayed Dark Cloud and now currently playing Dark Cloud 2 (Until Infamous comes out). I would kill for a Dark Cloud 3. *grabs wrench* KILL I SAY!!!

Dark Cloud, it was sony's zelda game, with stats of course, sony likes stats.

a dark cloud game with a more epic story line, way better battling system, and more advanced village building. but don't give the main character just a hammer/wrench gun combo. swords pls, like the first

Mine is probably jak dark cloud and maybe a dragon quest would be cool. I know X is on the wii but I want a next gen for ps3 :D

The Ace Combat series.

Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies was one of the best PS2 games ever. Ace Combat 5 was dissapointing and as I was hoping to get 6, it became a 360 exclusive.

It remains one of two 360 games I give a sht about that I can't play on PC/PS3.

PS2 games are never the same I find. I dunno if its the multiplayer emphasis this gen or what but they dont keep me interested.

But Hitman is a defo, maybe a remake of Spyro (I know ps1)
