i was under the impression that ps2 games worked on ps3 but recently after failed attempts at playing my old games i found out they only work on 60gb and not 30gb why not why couldn't sony put it in 30gb.
I didn't even knew Ps3 came in 30 GB models :? . Perhaps you meant 40 GB though, but on Sony's website, on GameSpot, darn even on the box of the 40 GB it says the console doesn't support Backward Compatibility with Ps2. So you're the only person to blame here. Do your homework when you buy something, more so when it comes at a hefty price...
It is the consumers duty to be informed before they make a purchase. Just return it to the store within 7/14 days and dont make such a stupid mistake next time.
How people can not even do some research before purchasing a 400/600 euro console is beyond me. And now we are stuck with another useless thread about nothing.
