I've made up my mind and will be getting a PS4. Should I predorder it now or wait and make sure there are no problems with it?

If you've decided, then why not just preorder one? Local stores like Gamestops, Best Buys, etc are only going to have a limited amount of reserves available so it might be a good idea to jump in early before all the "out of stock" delays come in. I know it still early, (and I'm not trying to start a sys war or anything) but there'll probably be a shortage of systems for quite awhile if some of those unhappy with Microsoft buy PS4's instead.Â
I will pre-order for sure. At $400, coming out at holiday season, and with a decent launch line-up, I think it's possible that they'll sell like hotcakes and there may be a shortage of them.

Given the reputation that launch consoles have, it's easy to understand why some people would want to wait!! BUT I say that's the chance you take with all electronic devices..Ipads, Droids, tablets etc!!
I'd wait a month or two to hear feedback from people, I plan on getting one if the majority of people are satisfied with their PS4 and there's no known issues with it.
this is way off topic, anyway it might just be me but the ps4 controller looks like a penis for some reason. anyone else think that aswel?
A question like this can only be answered by you. I mean, it's your money, your time & your life. Personally, I am pre-ordering mines tomorrow with some games.
I pre-ordered because I remember the problems getting hot consoles after launch. If Amazon can't deliver day one I could still grab one off the shelf and cancel (assuming there are any on the shelf). Plus, if delivery is delayed, I get that time to reconsider.
