Fracture comes out in 6 days. After playing the demo, it feels like a pretty solid game. What do you guys think it will get from GameSpot when they review it? I predict a 7.5-9.
7.5 - 9 quite a margin for error ^.^ I wil go with the lower end of that, 7.5, I enoyed the demo, but it really didnt FEEL like anything new while playing it.
Edit: To clarify, the difference in my head between a 7.5 and a 9 is a rather large one.
Demo was probably the worst demo I've played. The graphics are pretty bad the shooting is bland and the gameplay mechanic of raising the ground is a stupid gimmick. Making more cover is kinda cool but since the AI didn't respond to that by flanking you I felt quite disapointed. This game had promise but now it is some crappy TPS in a sea of amazing games coming out in the next month or so
From the way the game looks and everything I have heard it would be a surprise if it gets more than 7.5 and even that might be edging towards the generous side.
Im thinking 6.5-7.5, I was really dissapointed with the demo, the terrain changing is more or less a pain, seeing as (in the demo) you cant even kill with it.
Maybe 6.5 or 7.0. I played the demo and thought the game was pretty bad. Demos are obviously not the be all end all for a game, but this one I think is just not worth it.

Well I'll give the demo ZERO .. haven't played the entire game (won't after playing the demo unless a buddy gets it), so yes .. ZERO it is .. :lol:
It'll bomb. 5.5-6.0. I enjoyed the demo a tad, but I watched someone playing parts of the full game on the internet, and was not impressed. And he typed this on the message board while play it... "DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!"
I'm guessing 6.0 from GS. If I had to review it based off the demo I would give it a 5.0....actually make that 4.0. Extra point off for the main character looking like an Unreal rip off, but without the steroids. I mean how the hell are you gonna make a generic character who is a rip off of previously generic characters?

I see where hes coming from, besides the fact that he thinks it looks cool. Gameplay wise its not like Gears, but the graphics style looks very similar to something Epic would put out. The first thing I thought when I saw the main character was that he looks like a scrawny reject from UT. Well Gears and UT share a similar style so....yeah.
6.5. It was very bland in terms of gameplay and visuals, and the whole elevation alteration just reminds me of Haze's nectar gimmick: pretty cool, but not enough to save the game from mediocrity.
