Not counting co-op how long does single player take?

Depends on how good you are. Any where from 6-10 hours

I think it probably took me 8-10 hours, and you probably won't need to use a guide as it's much easier than the original Portal.

I think I beat the game within 9-11 hours. Then again that was the first time I played any portal game.

So still worth it even tho i dont plan on doing any co-op at all?

I got the game at 11 AM, started playing at 12 PM and continued non-stop until I finished it at 7 PM (without using guide obviously). 7 hours for me, but I rushed through it and did not pay attention to "hidden locations" or some of the sort. Generally it can be done in 7-9 hours.

I had experience with the first one and had a relative who had already played it help me through the game, all in all it took me about around 6-7 hours.

It took me probably 7-11 hours, I don't really know how long, but don't believe that it's only four hours, four hours is the time if you know the solution to every single puzzle already.

Yes free. Valve always releases free DLC for their games (as long as Sony doesn't get in their way like Microsoft did).
