I've played it nearly everyday since release...it's still kicking. There's always matches going on although the community is much smaller. However, I see that as a great thing since I get to play against the same people most of time. I've developed numerous allies and nemesis which makes the matches exciting.
I was kinda curious of this myself. I play it on the PC and there's a TON of people that play on there. It's good to hear that the PS3 version isn't completely dead :)
I like how on team fortress the learning curve isn't too bad and I can compete with people who have been playing for much longer than me. So even this long after release I'd still reccomend buying t because you won't feel too out of your depth
Why Would you play TF2 on a console?, any valve games for that matter.

The Orange Box runs fine on the PS3. I've only played Half Life 2 and all the other Valve games on the PS3, and yet they're my second favorite developer.
What's the last update that TF2 received on the PS3? Valve updates TF2 constantly on the PC so it's probably missing a whole lot of the content that's on the PC unless it was updated recently.
I don't recommend Orange Box for PS3 but if you really have no other options - then it will suffice.
I'm sad to say so but compare to PC or even Xbox 360, out version was pathetic excuse for such a phenomenal game. I hope one day, Valve corrects the terrible port, thou - it's a slim chance. I love Orange Box. :(

Last I checked this was the PS3 boards and not the PC boards. Fanboys are pathetic no matter what platform they choose.How am i a fanboy TF2 is so much better on PC it's not even funny.
