Depends on the tv really. And also are you asking for the best ps3 settings? Or best tv settings?

P.S. why is my font all jacked up and why is everything underlined? geez GS.

You just need to keep playing around with TV settings after getting the basic settings done. Setting the brightness, contrast, and hue is where you should start.

DO NOT USE THE GAME SETTING. Its awful. Go to the AVS forums, there is some good settings there.

I have a full HD TV also. It's brand new & I found that for the first few hours I couldn't get a decent image no matter what I did. Eventually though it setteled down & now it's gorgeous. I think maybe there was a burn-in period of something?? Not sure but it's awesome now. Best setting on mine actually IS the gamer setting though. Is your TV brand new??

Every TV is different, but here are some general guidelines. Turn off all post processing, that's edge enhancement, dynamic contrast, dynamic anything... That can add input lag. Contrast around 80-90. Backlight as low as is comfortable. Use an image to adjust brightness so that all areas are clearly visible, but the blacks are still dark. Sharpness 0-10. You don't need sharpness for an HD signal. Color Temp = warm. Turning saturation down will produce a more realistic image, but turning it up will make colors pop more. Like I said, every tv is different, so the real way to do it is to buy a calibration dvd like avia or just use the THX calibration tool on any pixar dvd.

I have a LG LED HDTV/3D Smart TV. There's a game mode, yet I do not find it necessary.
