OMG! You can use infinite ammo and one hit kill in hard & crushing!!!!

I don't know if this is old but I've completed the game on normal and purchase the infinite ammo & one hit kill upgrade. However, you can only use them in Normal, easy and very easy.

There is a way to bypass this:

Start a new game with normal diffculities, get pass the first few chapters (where there aren't any combat). turn on the infinite ammo & one hit kill, save the game. Once you return to the title screen, go into option and change the diffculities to hard or crushing (if you have beaten hard already). Now, go back to the title screen and hit continue. You are playing hard now and you still have infinite ammo & one hit kill active!

Importanat: Do not press start and go to the "store" while doing this on hard because the game will automatically disable the cheat and you'll have to do the above steps all overr again.

I use this to beat both hard and crushing and the amazing thing is that you can still get the trophies! I really don't know if naughty dog did this on purpose or it's really just a bug.

Why dont you just play on a easier setting if you need cheats to win?

id much rather have a challenge of beating crushing without cheating, its easier than a lot of games

i'll try it out once i've finished the game in normal difficulty.

are you sure you can get the crushing trophy if you change the settings after its been on normal ?

I'm still trying to bypass Uncharted 1 Crushing mode.

Wait till you get to the Train boss on crushing where it won't matter if you have infinite ammo or 1 shotkill modes on...you have to beat him in a fist fight and timing is everything there NOT these cheats.

Nah I'm not gonna use them. The game is too good to just cheat on it. :lol:

How did you play it on Crushing, but not Hard? Crushing isn't even unlocked until you beat it on Hard.

Anybody have any tips for beating Uncharted 1 on Crushing? I already got the Platinum for this game with ease, but Uncharted 1 on Crushing is a lot harder than the 2nd one...

the whole point of showing off ur brand new shiny platinum trophy is that you were good enough to meet the challenges. now with this the trophy system loses credibility...yarou1000

yep it works. Kinda cheap, but oh well. I'll use it for hard but not for crushing. That's how I did the first game. ;)

what part u stuck on?

i rented uncharted 1 and downloaded a save file that already had game beat on all difficulties i started a new game and did not carry over rewards and tresures and was able to beat game on crushing and get plat on first play through

there were some parts that made me want to throw my controler but game was so much fun

main tip that worked for me is when taking cover at a door dont stick to the wall just go in to sight (L1) and peek out that way its like playing resident evil 4 it helped me out

I've already completed Crushing, and I surprisingly found it very rewarded. Some parts were pretty tough. Using cheats wuld have taken that away
