I got an invite but still can't download the biggest in-game update (2 GB). I got to 75% downloaded after about 2 hrs and then it gave me some dumb error.
I wish people would stop making these topics - every forum on the internet seem to have like 100 of these topics, it;s ridiculous. Private Beta DOES mean you can't talk about it, Google DOES tell you how to get in and the name does give clues - Private Beta.
I got accepted to join the Beta but I'll start playing it tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what I think about it (not in detail of the game of course but my impressions about it).
Edit: To answer a question from above, to join the beta, Sony invites you via email. Check your email to see if you recieved an invite & follow it's prompts so on & so forth.
Thinking that every time my wireless controllers automatically powers off, then I get a download error. I'm testing now by plugging in wireless controller.

Unless they release a public beta you won't be able to get in now. This private beta going on now is for Qore subscribers and you had to subscribe by the 17th. I downloaded it but haven't played it yet. Apparently you can't talk about it anyway so I guess I won't be able to comment on whether its good or not. Hopefully it is though because this beta is gonna be make or break on whether I buy this game or not.
Unfortunately NDA prevents us in the beta from sharing. I could've shared what I played @ PAX but at this point I don't want to take ANY chances of missing out on the next month and 1/2 of beta goodness.
Its a long time till this game comes out and so far I've been having a blast.
