Ive been looking at some gaming headsets. By that I mean where you can hear the noise or sound of the game and communicate at the same time. Some Ive been looking at are teh MLG ones. They cost upwards of 150 US. If this headset does that at a reasonable price im all for it.
I am in the market for a gaming headset. Not BT. I already got a Bluetooth Headset.
I already got a perfectly fine usb headset and a playstation eye (it has a microphone).so i dont need a bluetooth headset but i might get it if comes with socom cause ima get the blue ray version
Holy crap! finally a nice bluetooth from Sony and on top of that it has the mute button. hopefully this is true and not a photoshop. Im definitely getting this if this is real.
All of you who are saying this is overpriced, have you looked into buying a decent bluetooth headset? $40 will get you something slightly better than crap. Paying $50 for a quality headset is not unheard of.
With that being said, I won't believe this story until I get a press release from Sony about the headset.

i know, i paid 90 for my crappy H300 last March. this is gonna be great. also i assume it will lead to more people using a headset, because frankly, the bluetooth market is crowded with lots of subpar products. and i know its put me off buying a new one.
i would love to have that, because it looks awesome and well its just cool to have official gear it looks better that way and its makes you feel like you got the real deal i guess. i have several headsets i got for free that came with cell phones i bought so i just dont see any point in spending more on one if i dont need it. i really like it though
o wait...hmm i want the new socom so i mine as well get the bundle. cool. thats a sweet deal man the game and that nice head set for 60. thats not overpriced at all man

well said man. that kind of post is only detrimental and does not bring anything to the topic. I was on the forums yesterday and never saw any topic like this. In any case i'm glad they finally got their own headset. if i was getting one it would be the official one.
