this isn't system wars so i'd rather not argue, but no, it really didn't. looked like a slightly upgraded, HD version of halo 2

The Killzone trailer did look fantastic, but I don't think it's anything that the 360 can't do.

As for Halo 3, check out the high res screenshots they look fantastic. Definitely not Halo 2.5:
