My WiFi radio broke on my PS3 can I go wired?

Will it still work if my PS3 is wired to router despite the wifi radio not working? I'm just wondering.

Yeah, you don’t need WiFi if you’re connected through Ethernet. I’ve never even used WiFi on my non-portables.
