I created a media sever on my LAN. I had pictures, music etc. Anyways I turn on my PS3 which was connected though wifi and it automatically found that sever and all my music files and pictures with no configuration needed. I thought that was pretty sweet:)
They do but it a pain to set up. The PS3 did for me without a lift on my finger.techranger209
It's just as easy to set up as ps3 and unlike the ps3 it will play protected music. Not only that but you can stream music while playing a game (custom sound tracks) and play online.

Can you explain the created it on the LAN portion? I have media sharing setup through WMP11 - and can share from my computer - that is what you are saying right?
Its even cooler if you have a psp bc then you can assess that stuff remotely anywhere w/ wifi. I haven't really done it bc i can't connect to campus wifi with my psp yet (damn wifi security)
I gave up on that streaming crap, i just disconected my external drive from the pc to the ps3...streaming became a pain...plus my light bill sky rocketed cuz id keep my pc on all day n night.Â
