My online speed is reaaaly sloooow!!!!!

From the first time I got my PS3 my internet is hell slow in downloads! When a game needs to get de newest version, it takes a day to finally get the version: the download stops at 6% and I nedd to restart, restart, restart and restart. There's also the fact that for exemple in NHL 09 online, only 1 game out of 5 will work. PLEASE I really need help: did I get a PS3 with a bog? or what can I do to get a better download and connection speed????

PS: I got the wireless connection impossible for me to get wired...:(

The only really smart thing to do.. would be.. get a new internet provider.JOE_PS3
