I thought it got more fun the more you played it. doing the speed runs and time trials then blasting through the story a second time was fantastic!
i recently borrowed this for the second time, this time i was just focusing on the time trials, THIS IS WHERE THE REAL GAME IS.
I agree that the artstyle is more asthetically pleasing than killzone 2, but in terms of rendering techniques and such, Killzone 2 is way better.
i loved it too it wsa too short Trx07Story mode is a little over six hours. Minus cutscenes, MGS4 barely wins out.
I liked the graphic style of the game, aside from the cutscenes, which just look like those E-Surance ads. It's a clean looking game, but in my estimation, does not hold a candle to many games out there, graphically.
I wasn't fond of the game (one of my least favorite for this generation, thus far), as I wanted a cool parkour experience. The game built no momentum, as it played, essentially, like a Genesis-era precise platformer. boring AND frustrating.
I am jealous of those who enjoy it, as I really had high hopes for the game.
Ultimately, though: a free running game that doesn't let you run free? Fail.
yeah it is a fantastic game nice graphics expecially if you have a 1080i full HD Tv
Hanzoadam
My sister always acts like her eyes are burning when I play the game.
I really enjoy the game. I loved Sonic back in the day and this game reminds me of that or even better. Of course it really depends on your skill level, if you are constantly falling and dieing you're going to hate the game. However, if you get the timing down you can bypass enemies like nothing and you start feeling that rush, that same rush I get when going so fast in Sonic that the screen is too slow for me, lol.
ME is a solid game. It's only real weakness was its combat because it worked to slow the pace of the game down. The game is at its best when Faith is running as fast as she can through the environment. But when she has to stop and fight, it just kills the momentum . IMO the developers should have just left out Faith's combat abilities and made running the only option.
Also, it's definitely not a game for people who hate trial and error gameplay. But if you don't mind trial and error gameplay, it is a definitely worth playing.
BTW I didn't think the graphics were anything special, but to each his own.
This game is brilliant. One of the best games I've ever played, and that's coming from a guy who absolutely HATES games with time-trials and stuff like that...
But I should say that this game really shines when you're doing the Speedruns and the Trials. Hard to say when compared to so many great games that came out in 2008 but this is definetly one of the best.
Go buy it.
