I didn't know they were competing, I prefer both, they don't come out at the same time do they? If they did I might have a heart attack from excitement
i prefer rpgs over other genres of games...so ill probably enjoy FFXIII more.
but with all the good MGS4 previews ill love the hell out of MGS4 as well. seems this time ill enjoy killing as well (none of the other MGS have had a good shooting mechanic imo...tho i didnt play mgs3 subsistance...only snake eater)
Yea shooting in MGS has always been a little akward especially in third person, but I think they don't worry about it to emphasize different tactics like stealth, h2h, and CQC
In number 3 I went through the entire game for fun without shooting, I slit everyones throut, so when it cam time to do the boss fight in the lake(or river, whatever it was) all the ghosts were screaming that their heads were going to fall off lol
I'm buying both... This is a bad comparison first they are totally different games second they are coming out like a year apart from each other so if you want both there's no problem there.
Howon earth can you compair these two games, we know nothing about FF13 andquite abit about MGS4 and theyare two completlydiffrent typesof games,if they where both comming outat thesame then maybe you could compare them.
Anyway im going with MGS4 because this will be the last time we ever see snake and we finaly get to see how his journey ends and say goodbye to a charater that we have all grown attached to, where as the only final fantasy game that did that was FF7
Wow...that's a tough call. I will say Metal Gear Solid 4 only because this will be Solid Snake's last adventure. Playing the original Metal Gear Solid on PlayStation made me a HUGE fan and made a big impression on me when I was a kid.
With that said, I am really excited about Final Fantasy XIII and even more so...Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
Even though these games are really awesome, the reason why I bought my PS3 is God of War 3. Case closed.
