Madden 2010 Online Franchise Mode - $10 DLC?

Ok, so the PSN release for today made it obvious that EA is whoring out the Madden game for DLC. Net result - I don't buy it and then I feel like I'm being cheated out of full, honest treatment in the game - believing that they're going to make the game slight me just enough to make me want to go out and spend money on this BS.

The worst, however, is that it looks like they're going to be making the Online Franchise mode paid-for DLC. On PSN, that's exactly how it reads to me. After hyping it up as one of their new features, IMO, they can't charge you extra for it. That should be standard on the disc. There's no way they can't just get that on the disc before packaging it up. At the least, make it free DLC.

add it to the reasons why i hate EA... i loved command and conquer back in day and westwood bought by EA and ever since C&C feels rushed.. same goes for all games bought by EA.. anyways yeah thats not shocking, after dead space and all the weapon packs that came out, i just knew they were going to do something like this with their most popular franchise..

New versions come with a code to play online franchise. It's on the back of the manual. Those who buy the game used/rent it need to buy the DLC.
