I have no idea.I will get it for the 360 though.I don't want to play another Valve made game ported to the PS3 by EA again.The Orange box was ok but there was no Updates of any kind.L4D will probably be the same way.No updates,no DLC,No thank you.But who knows.
Left 4 Dead should be exactly what its title says, left for dead. I did not understand what was so fun about it when I played it at my cousin's house. It was reaaaaallllyyy repetitive and the maps were as well. But to answer your question TC, there has been no announcments or plans to port it to the ps3.

Left 4 Dead rules, and it is a game that takes time to get used to; but once you do it is very fun. Playing as zombies or humans both online and offline rules. I'll admit that the game is different, yet, it is a good different.

This question has come up way to much. I was at PAX last year and valve stated that EA was interested in porting the game to PS3. If EA doesn't valve has no intentions of doing. For what ever reason valve does not like the PS3 and has openly said it many times. If it does come i have heard it would be this fall or early winter. Great game though, i wish i got it for PC instead of 360. So if you have a PC its your best option to get the most out of the experience.
That is the case with all valve games.They are best gotten on the PC,but your second best chance is the 360......then the PS3.PS3 gets no love from Valve at all.
