Well yeah. I guess it depends on the game and mode though. Some games/modes require teamwork while others don't. Both are important I guess...I just don't care about either.
K/D for some reason it gives more bragging rights, because you're Win/Loss can be affected by sooo much like having bad teamtes etc...K/D depends more on your "skills".
most of the ppl that care about their kill death are campers... its not that hard to have a 2 KDR if you dont move from ur camping corner... i say accuracy is the best of the MW2 stats... but the stat they need to have is one that tells your average place on the scoreboard
neither are 'important' but k/d is if it WERE important..mainly because it reflects you personally unlike w/l which would reflect you being involved in some sort of team and unfairly giving u losses if you are part of a bad team.
i think k/d ratio. i have the highest k/d ratio in MW2 on my friends list @ a staggering 3.01. it was @ 3.33 several weeks back. i gotta get it back up again. i am obsessed w/ my k/d ratio! (i also have the highest accuracy & w/l ratio of all my friends :])
k/d is more important its the best way to tell how good someone is skillwise. They could have a ton of losses but it could just be because they get crappy teams all the time.

Not always.. Your team sucks, they get a chopper gunner, chopper gunner slaughters you, your now negative, teams fault :)
because your team might suck whereas you might own. Therefore if you are playing TDM your buddies could be dying left right and center and you could be managing a healthy 3 to 4 kills per death if not more which will still mean you loose.
