allright, well i jus got my new ps3 (whoooo!!!!!:D) so what game should i get first?? i kmo resistance is tha top game, but im kinda gettin sick of shooters (so many hours drained from gears...) but then again hearin how shallow MS is and VF5 havin no multiplayer really bums it. but MS still looks like it would be hella fun online... your thoughts??

You pretty much stated all the games (which you want to get) weaknesses.
Anyway... Judging from what you wrote abut VF5, online will be a selling point to you. If thats true, then I would suggest getting Motor Storm. Its not a shooter and it has online play. :P

uh, resistance will bring him a whole new world compared to gears. bodies dont roll around like foam, the AI is actually good, and the weapons are actually creative. also you get the 40 person online games, which are sick
Motorstorm shallow? I wouldn't use that terminology... but it is addicting, but not in a way that you get mad when something goes wrong. Crashing is fun :D .
I haven't played VF5 yet, but out of the other two, I recommend Motorstorm. Resistance is a very good shooter, but Motorstorm is definitely the best racing game I've played in years.Â

motorstorm hasnt got old for me yet, that game is great. always a different race. the game engine and physics are fantastic, and the AI is very adaptive
Motor storm is the most fun game I've played on the Ps3 and one of the most fun games period. It does not get old quick. Single player is fun and it prepares you for more fun when you get on line. Build up your skills and car list before you play online.
