I normally wait until midnight & do my updates. Most people in the U.S. are asleep so the servers aren't taking a beating & DLing is faster. Try doing that & let us know if that worked for you.

I almost always have issues with downloading patches and updates to games.. I usually have to try numerous tries before it finally D/L's

If it were me having this issue, I would delete my install of LBP (not my saves) and reinstall, then try update. After that, I would change out the hard drive with one I had lying around, and if that didn't work, I would hardwire my internet connection to see if I got an uncorrupted file to update. Those are the 1st 3 things I would try. Good luck.

I have never seen such a wild incarnation of "enough" in my life...

yeah...i would agree with a hard wire connection (not wireless). I used wireless for too long...hard wired is still 20 times more stable.
