Is Mercenaries 2 following the 52-card storyline?

If you haven't played the first Mercenaries you probably won't undersand what I'm talking about. But for those of you that did, I really enjoyed the way that was set up (each target representing a playing card).

Hmmm, I didnt get a chance to play the first one, but this is my most anticipated game. Im sure it will live up to the hype. Dunno about the cards, though.

I played the first one and I've been following Mercs 2 quite extensively... I think the developers said they're ditching the card system, however, the high value target capture/kill mechanic is definitely a big part of the game.

So yes, the object of the game is to make money off of the Venezuelan conflict by fulfilling contracts and capturing the HVTs while trying to get revenge on a guy who screwed you over in the beginning:D
