Is it just me or does the trophy sync operation take FOREVER now?

Now I know this is nothing important but I'm one of those guys who likes to collect/compare trophies but ever since the last system update the trophy sync just takes wayyyyyy too long to complete now. Once I saw it was stuck at 5% for 3 or 4 minutes I thought I would go and do something and just leave my system on until I came back. Almost half an hour later the sync is only at 27%! I'm just wondering if this is happening to anybody else also.

I was hoping the answer wouldn't be "it's just you" haha. I have been trying to sync up a few times a day now and get the same slow outcome every time.

There's 2 ways to sync trophies, 1)from trophy collection in the game menu or 2)going into your own panel in the friend's list. So try whichever method you weren't using.

There's a third way you forgot about :P. It also syncs up when you try to compare trophies. All three methods take just as long. I do have a lot of games maybe that could be a problem for it. I've decided that I'm just going to wait this one out and see if it's only a temporary problem.

It depends on how many trophies you have to sync. If you have more than it will take longer and etc.

more trophies and new games you have installed the longer it will take. I just do it every so often so i dont have to wait so long. wish itd auto synch

Mine seems to be taking longer lately. What used to take 3-4 secs is now taking 10-15 secsCajunShooter

The more games you have and the more you have played between syncs obviously makes a difference, but no I have not noticed any difference since the last firmware update. Equally I tend to check my stats after every gaming session so......

It takes around 10 seconds for me to sync. But like some other people stated it takes longer if you have a lot of new trophies to sync.

Mine seems to be running at the same speed it always did. Maybe 5 - 10 seconds to sync trophies.

It does seem to take a bit longer now, but that's probably because I keep earning trophies.

Well mine is pretty fast but then again I only have 1/9 the trophies you do haha.

i blame it on the recent update, its definitely taking a lot longer to sync now (even if you didnt get any new trophies as well)
