Man FFVII Crisis Core is arguably the best game on the PSP. And No Zack is the only playable character in the game. And it is also different from other final fantasy series, it has the DMW (Digital Mind Wave) system. Go and J
just get it, You wont regret it.
I think its a buy, but as was said above you dont need that much stratgey so its pretty much a hack n slash game except for some of the harder battles. It doesnt play at all like previous FF games too and im split about the DMW. As much as it can be useful it forces you to rely on luck more than skill for certain battles.
The cinematics are damn nice too.
It also takes a little while to beat (story mode sint that long but if you do some of the side missions).
Nways thats my 2 cents ont the game
I also have been wondering this. Good reviews and a large fanbase seem to make it look good.wado-karateBottom line is, if you're a big fan of FFVII and just want to play it for the story, get it. You'll like it. But if you're just looking for a really good RPG, it may be disappointing. But you never know. You may like it or hate it. You won't know till you try.
All matters considered, yes, FF7 Crisis Core is a good game. If your a fan of FF7- you should be able to thoroughly enjoy Crisis Core, if only for its story. If you aren't a big fan of FF7 however, you should rent the game first.
Gameplay wise, Crisis Core has a solid battle system... That is sabotaged by comatose enemy AI. As such, the main storyline is pretty easy since the basic enemies utterly fail to put a fight at all. The bosses are also plagued by this horrendous AI- but they are still fun since their attacks do pack a punch and will keep you on your toes- especially at the higher difficulty level.
I suggest you rent it first. If you really enjoy it- then definitely buy it, since the main storyline is decent length, and the side missions increase this length much further, making it a very good portable game.
