Killzone 2 JUST came out.
Exactly! They r probably thinking on DLC, not on Killzone 3With the time and money spent making the game, I dont know????
How can a game that took soo long to create and had soo much money invested in it, that its engine and game in general is maybe on or under par with COD4 that came out 2 years ago???
I know its two totally different games, but Im just comparing what each offers and how each games engine works...

@ TJ sage:roll: i read o these boards somewhere that KZ3 was already in production, and with the long time before release they had to develop the engine first so i believe that KZ3 will take less time to make.
I'm gonna guess that they're not working on Killzone 2 but a new IP. I have no evidence to support this, just a gut feeling.
well here's how i look at it - it took them like 5 or 6 years to make killzone 2 - meaning they had a small team, not much money, and not that good at what they do. it turned out to be a huge game and for all 5 years had huge hype. a lot of people bought a ps3 just for killzone 2. a lot of people used killzone 2 as a way to claim that ps3 is better than 360 (i'm not syaing that, that's just what a lot of people said back when 360 and ps3 were going at it all the time). but now that they finally have some money and a great engine, i would assume they're working on probably a map pack and a new mode, and hopefully a new single player - killzone 2 was only like 6 hours long, could beat it in 2 sittings, killzed the boss on my 1st try, so with the money they now have, i think they should definitely make a new one, with a 10 hr+ campaign, i think a lot of people have seen what they can do and would be willing to pay another $60 in a year or so for a longer campaign
cant people ever be satisfied i mean the game has barely been out for a month and your already asking about the next one
just appreciate what you got and enjoy it and when they announce the next one if they do then is a good time to start looking foward to it and talking about it

well visually, no. but gameplay wise, it's really not that different.
I heard/read somewhere on here that new maps were in the works for KZ2 MP, hopefully some DLC? Who knows, and at this point in time, should we even care? Unless something is proven in concrete, plain black and white, that a "KZ3" is in production and GG is working on it, I'll stick with KZ2 MP thank you :)well here's how i look at it - it took them like 5 or 6 years to make killzone 2 - meaning they had a small team, not much money, and not that good at what they do. it turned out to be a huge game and for all 5 years had huge hype. a lot of people bought a ps3 just for killzone 2. a lot of people used killzone 2 as a way to claim that ps3 is better than 360 (i'm not syaing that, that's just what a lot of people said back when 360 and ps3 were going at it all the time). but now that they finally have some money and a great engine, i would assume they're working on probably a map pack and a new mode, and hopefully a new single player - killzone 2 was only like 6 hours long, could beat it in 2 sittings, killzed the boss on my 1st try, so with the money they now have, i think they should definitely make a new one, with a 10 hr+ campaign, i think a lot of people have seen what they can do and would be willing to pay another $60 in a year or so for a longer campaign

It's inevitable. Two reasons
1. the overall sucess of Killzone 2 no doubt will issue Guerilla to contemplate and create a sequel
and
2. The ending of Killzone 2 was a cliff-hanger.

A really bad one. Hopefully the next game won't have a horrible ending like that.
