Im confused, MGS4 related *SPOILER*

So i got thinking the other day about MGS4 and i was thinking about the microwave hallway, why does snake go in there?
Theres no reason for him to go in there at all M.K3 does all the work, i know that theresprobably some simple answer that im missing can someone clear this up for me

I don't think that they could even get the MK on their because they used that cool launching thing, or itprobablydoesn'twork in that temp. Cant remember 100%.

I think thats it because they have thermal which can see invisible things just like how you could see Gray Fox when he turned invisible in MGS1

Also those things didnt even attempt to go for MK3 they fully ignored it

its a game man. you dont expect a robotto go in and destroy the patriots with out snake plus it was a cool moment seeing every one abt to die and snake being the only one who could stop it all

Snake had to make sure that Otacon via the Mk SHUTS DOWN GW and the other AIs. Snake went there to protect the Mark III from being attacked or stopped, for instance imagine what would've happened if Snake wasn't there when those dwarf Gekkos were attacking.

Snake goes in there to protect the MK. The scarabs can see through stealth, as explained in the game. In the server room there could have been anything/anyone, from Frogs, to scarabs and Gekkos. Without Snake there, the scarabs would have instantly destroyed the MK, but instead they attacked the bigger threat [Snake] who held them off.

I just beat tht game like 10 mins ago, im not sure about the answer b/c MGS4 is the only one i hav played but i think the answer has already been said above.

I didn't realize that till I watched Guns of the Awesome. :lol:

But think about it. How boring would it be if Snake just stayed outside while the Mk. 3 did all the work.

i dont even know how he survivded cos hes costume got torn up but his face was fine

and then he had enough energy to fight ocelet i mean thats impressive

This is Snake though, he does the impossible. He beats bosses in a tank with just grenades(MGS1) he beats Rex with just a rocket Launcher.. Fights his brother Liquid and goes on a Car chase out of Shadow Moses and walks away from it alive(MGS1 as well..). It wouldnt be Snake if he got tired... he has to fullfill his MISSION come one now... lol but yea Snake is godly thats what makes the series so epic in itself though, wouldnt rather have it any other way.
