If I Am Downloading From The PS Store And Lose Connection....

If I am downloading a game say GTA V from the PS Store and get signed off or lose connection in the middle of my download will I have to start over or will it continue where I left off with the download..?

I have things downloading all the time. I'm 100%. It took me over a week to download stuff cause it pauses when I play certain games. I don't keep my PS3 on just to finish the downloads.

If you get any network disconnection warnings, though. the download can end up being corrupt. It will continue downloading as normal, but will halt halfway thru the install process. And PSN isn't like Steam where you're able to reverify the cache' files and redownload the corrupt parts. You have to redownload the whole thing. I wish more online services were more like Steam.

If you choose "Download In Background" after purchase, the file will automatically pause, with no hiccup or corruption, until you can re-establish connection. Just always choose that when you buy something, and you should be fine.
