if final fantasy versus xiii were to come out at same time as final fantasy xiii

there probably going to be a year apart but if they both came out in march next year, which one would you get? or would you spend your money on both? or do you hate both of them?

Been an FF fan since I played VII on the PS1 and loved every game since but have no interest whatsoever in XIII, don't know what it is about it but just doesn't seem right. Versus XIII however I cannot freaking wait for, never been so hyped up for a game on such little information that has actually been released. Only reason I look forward to the XIII release is that Nomura said Versus XIII information will be released fairly reguarly after.

I'd buy FFXII. For all I know FFVersusXIII is just vaporware.

If I could only get one, which probably would be the case considering I barely have money, it would be Versus.

Looks a lot more interesting to me than FF XIII, although I will be getting both.

theres only one big factor for me and that is if the combat is still turn based. is it? and whats the difference with versus?

I don't even know anything about Versus to make a decision on it. That game is vaporware as far as I'm concerned, but maybe we'll learn more about it once FF13 is out.

I would get both. FF13 looks awsome and FF13 versus also does. Well hopeful that wont happen because then I will have to get $120 instead of just $60. Well FF13 comes out in march and I really cant wait for it. Final Fantasy rocks.

Not really much is known about how the combat is just that its an action RPG, but I'd expect something closer to Kingdom Hearts since its by the same team.

Both and then play FFXIII so that I can play Versus without worrying about playing the other game.
