If you need help with 10 reasons to buy a PS3 then don't buy it.

Considering your on a website called "gamespot", and there being 4 sticky threads on Playstation 3 reommendations, I am just going to pretend I never saw this post.

You want 10 reasons? Google is your friend. Don't be lazy and let others do the work for you.

Give me 10 reasons why I should give you 10 reasons to buy a PS3.... Or do you're own research

1. It is a better investment because

2. It has a significantly lower chance of dying on you than a 360

3. It wont gather dust after its first month like a wii

4. It will last longer than either of the two consols this generation into the next gen of consols.

5. It is the best bluray player on the market.

6. It has a multiplayer capacity as good if not better than xbox lives because its free and dont get me started on nintendos piss poor version of any multiplayer game.

7. They just dropped in price recently making now a better time to buy one short of black friday.

8. As more and more developers learn how to program for the cell processor (and they are as you can see with more exclusives than the 360 by a longshot this year) more develepors (while not all) are going to jump ship and go towards the consol that has the better top end gaming experiances.

9. You won't have to buy nearly as many accessories in order to get a full experiance with the consol.

10. People that get the most out of any consol tend to do research for themselves ;)

Honestly though, it's your money. If you don't want a PS3, don't force yourself into buying one. I recommend, just for the exclusives (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, etc.) but on top of that you get a free Blu Ray player and you don't need to pay to play online. I love mine, but whether or not you want one is up to you. Don't buy just because there's ten good reasons.

1. because of Valkyria chronicles being ps3 exclusive.

2. because you want some "solid snake" action.

3. because uncharted 2 + killzone 2 +God of war 3 > Mass effect 2 + Halo reach

4. because ps3 looks cooler than xbox 360

5. because ps3 is more reliable than xbox 360

6. because ps3 is made by sony, and sony rocks.

7. because ps3 is blu ray

8. because ps3 is sexy

9. because PSN s free> Xbox live isn't

10. BECAUSE VALKYRIA CHRONICLE ROCKS and it's PS3 Exlusive!!
