There has never been a better time to be proud of owning a ps3 and finally having upgraded to a ps3 only two months ago I am so happy with my purchase and looking forward see nothing but amazingness in its future :P

Anyways to the topic at hand lol, Last rebellion while looking a bit plain is going to be cheap but long and its going to be menu based as well as to an extent final fantasy 13 and resonance of fate.

Now some people get on to menu based games, say they cant stand them. I don't understand this but to each their own.

But is there anyone that agrees theres nothing like sitting down in front of your tv and game consol all day on a day off with some cans of soda and just relaxing playing a turn based menu based rpg?

I simply do not think there is a greater joy in life. I really dont... With a few exceptions but lets keep this pg13 :P

Not really sure what you mean by menu based, but I really love turn based RPGs, from the genious Disgaea 3 to the not-so-genious (IMO) Cross Edge I enjoy them always more than action RPGs (don't get me wrong, Star ocean as example is fantastic, but I prefer turn based)

As your attorny, I advise you to play it your way. Menu-based RPGsare awesome, but there have been so many through the years that were executed pretty poorly. I think thats what turns a lot of people off. As long as the menus are quick, simple, and intuitive they can be tons of fun. Menus that beget menus that beget menus just to find a specific commandis tedious and not veryenjoyable for the less devoted fans of the genre. It also helps when the story doesn't suck (Yetanother rotten apple on the rather fruitful RPG tree).

That said, End of Eternityis going to be great. The demo was a blast.

Ah, yes. FF7 still to this day remains my most played and possibly favorite game of all time. I say possibly cause I think MGS may be my favorite, too. Its been over a decade and I still haven't decided! lol. Anyway, I still feel the three FF games on the PSOne were the absolute best. The only exception I'm willing to make is, of course, FFIII.

You do know you can download and play PS1 games on your psp instead of using remote play.

Menu based RPGs/TurnBased are the same, the correct name for that subgenre is the Traditional RPG.

I hate clunky menus that are difficult to navigate. If an RPG has a menu that isn't very good it detracts a whole lot from the game imo.

I don't really care either way, but I have no problem with turn based RPGs.
