I bought my PSP a couple years back and its consistantly done me well since. I ran the wash and forgot the PSP was in my sweater's pocket (I was in a hurry putting the clothes in so I didn't notice it). After the wash is done I start loading the clothes into the dryer. I notice the weight of the PSP in my pocket and think "oooohhh crap..." I reach in and grab it and run inside. I plug it into the wall adapter (much like a trauma patient with life support) and the charging light lights normally. I flip the switch and it starts up. What a load off my mind. I come back home later that night ready to see if it was still working and I pull it from the adapter. The power LED is dimly glowing green, so I flip the power switch and get no result. I plug it back in and let it "charge" over night only to find the same result. Ladies and gentlemen, I think I bricked my PSP.

Send it back in to get another one, or buy another one. Yeah you really shouldn't plug wet things into electrical things, not a good idea.
