I have five games for my ps3.

Uncharted

MGS4

Warhawk

Resistance: FOM (soon to get 2)

Battlefield Bad Company

Out of those five, 4 have single player campaigns. Here's how many times I've beaten each game.

Uncharted-3 times

MGS4-4 times

Resistance: FOM-2 times

Battlefield Bad Company- 2 times.

Now, at the present moment I'm mid way through the campaign on both MGS4 and Resistance: FOM. My point is, how many people play single player like there's no tomorrow? How many games have you played the single player over, and how many times did you play it? (If you can remember) I personally love to play single player over again, as to me it's like watching a movie over again, but better, as you get to actually interact and do stuff.

haha yeah I tend to expand my collection very slowly. It's these prices. Granted, I know people would say it's a fair deal for certain games, but the $60 price tags are just pushing me away. I have yet to buy one game this generation full price. I buy them all off ebay or wait for them to drop down. Resistance 2 is coming soon(hopefully tomorrow)...got it for $31 :) Good deal, in my opinion only. Soo, yeah...main reason I don't have that many games is because of money. I'm just a picky saver and spender, that's all.

It's rare if I ever play a campaign more than one. The only game this gen I played through more than once was resistance:fom because of the co-op.

Oh yeah.I love playing singleplayer games over again. For two main reason I do so.A.More stuff to find and collect and B.I loved the story and gameplay period.

Here are some games I remember playing over and over

  • Condemned 2
  • MGS4
  • Dead Rising
  • Mass Effect
  • Blue Dragon
  • Fear
  • Fear files
  • Resident evil 4

That's quite a list. I agree though, story and items are a crucial point for replay.

I'll beat a game, check out the online for a while. Then eventually go back through the campaigns for the different difficulty levels, trophies, collectibles, and stuff like that.

That would bug me to have so many games and only play through them once. Then again, if I got each game prior to beating another one, I guess it wouldn't. Ah, like someone said already, Ireally need to get more games :D

For the PS2, I'd play every game at least 5 times as I only bought about 3-4 games a year. Now, I am not as lucky as in I buy a lot more games but get less quality time with them. I beat God Of War 17 times (played it some more last night ;)). As for the PS3 generation, the most I've beaten a game is Uncharted, which is 7 times. I feel bad because I want to play the same games over and over but I keep buying new games to play.

If they are very good or have good unlockables I will play them again. Examples MGS4 - good unlockables and very good Resistance - bunch of new guns

Well seeing as I only play single player I do.

I usually pop in one of my favorite games when nothing new is out.:P Anything that isn't a JRPG in my collection has been beaten around three times each.:P

Seeing as how I'm relatively new to the PS3 and the wealth of games I've amased for it, I havn't really found the time to replay any yet (not that I don't want to, I just want more time to do it). Now the PC and the PS2 are a different story. I've played and re-played the God of Wars, Okami, Godhand (don't know why, but it's the only fighter I own), RE4, DMC 1&3, and the Prince of Persia trilogy. But the most re-played in my collection out of all are the Half-Life series (with the first one played almost religeously every year), and the original Fear.

lol and you give 9.5's and 10's to a few of them. its ok i play a game and then pick up a different one then go back to it. its just nice to have a change of pace. even though i did just play GTA4 withing a couple days and beat it again.

I did that a lot more on the PS1 SNES and N64. I've been buying a lot more games this gen than I normally do, so I haven't had as much time to replay games, but I will at some point. I've actually seperated all the games I beat from the ones I still have to beat so It may be a while before I replay any games though.

Well, I don't have a PS3 yet, but I've played MGS 2 over through each difficulty (including EE) collecting all the dog tags and stuff about 10 times XD.

I tend to play all my games once. Once i get to the end i dont really play them much again. Unless you count multiplayer in which case i probably played halo all through my college years(system link was pretty fun).

I forgot i played ikaruga multiple times. maybe 3-4

I play the game multiple time if I liked the story alot, also there might be some stuff I missed last time so I use the oppitunity to get them.

Uncharted-4 times

Dead Space-3 times

GTA4-2 times

KZ2-2 times (like the online)

These are just some of the PS3 games I remember playing multiple times.

It's rare for me to go through a game twice...... I played through resident evil 4 about2 and a half times, once forwife and the second time for myself,my wifeloved watching and helping with the puzzles. Oblivion I put 180 hours into it, sold it,then bought it again and have put 70 hours into it again. But other than those games, it hard for me to complete games twice, i might try but only get half way through my second try.

I've beaten devil may cry 4 just about 4 times all on difficulties I unlock after the previous play.

it just never gets old for me :D

that and I hope that sometime I can rank pretty high when compared to a lot of the world rankings.

With some games I do, like Uncharted.
