first time through i beat it in about 20 hours, over the course of a week or so.

i took my time and enjoyed it

dude, your trippin. if you watch all the cutscenes and play it on at leat medium you're looking at 19 hours.SamuRai_JeDi

lol i played on Solid Normal and had a 13 hour play time with watching everything your just slow.

I took my time, analyzed...didn't always go gunz blazin. Played the game like it should've been played and enjoyed it over about 2 weeks. Took my time and tried to make the best of the game, if I wanted to beat it in 13 hours I could and would beat it in 5. peace

I bet you could beat it in five but i also looked around had to try some parts like 10 times, almost killed my hand trying to press triangle enough at the end and i ended up with 1,000,000 drebin points at the end of the game with a 13 hour playtime you said that he was "trippin" and it would take 19 hours i was just making the point of that being a slower time and it really doesnt take that long.

the first took me it took me 15 1/2 hours

if you skip all the cutscenes, its considerably shorter (took me about 5 hrs)

the second time through is much easier because you know where to go and all your items, weapons and money carries over

Try it on The Boss Extreme.

On your first playthrough with cutscenes, around 20 hours give or take an hour. Your succeeding tries without cutscenes, you're looking at less than 10 hours.

There ya go, you can actually watch the guy play THE PERFECT GAME. Took me 18 hours the first time, 10 hours the second time. Trying a total stealth/knife assasination run to get the Altair costume, then going for a perfect run on Big Boss Hard.

24 1/2 hours the first time through. Really enjoying myself the whole time a savoring it. May try to pickup the pace next time through though :) But yea definitly a game you buy not rent for sure. There is just so many ways of doing things.

Send the little robot to bring the enemy out and snipe him from long distance is just sweet. Well not that long of a distance but you get the point. It surely surprised the enemy soldier lol.

i did it in 16 hours and a couple of mins with the cutscenes

Just finished Wanted and googled my handle and this was one of the first pics that came up... That pic of "the guy that beat it on Boss Extreme in under 3.5 hours" is from me.

I did that pretty soon after the game was released too.

Depends how good and familiar you are with the Metal Gear franchise and the stealth genre. If you're new and willing to follow the story from start to finish, you might end up with over 25 hours of playtime. If you're familiar with the genre and the series, it might take you 15 - 17 hours including the cutscenes. If you're going for the Big Boss emblem, it might take up for a week or more to complete the game because damn it's hard!

Seriously TC if you want to enjoy the whole game at least once for a rental figure on 16 to 20 hours, but if you skip cutscenes then 10 to 13 hours is about right. I took a little 20 hours my first time, but that's because I searched everything. I layed low for so long that I earned the Gecko emblem. HAhahaha!!!
