Hooked on Red Dead Redemption

So this has to be the best western I've ever played and both single player and multiplayer are loads of fun. Rockstar did an amazing job with this game and I advise those that didn't try it yet give it a go and you won;t be let down (90 Percent of you)

The only other game to grab my attention like this has been Dragon Age and I almost wanna say that RDR surpasses DAO with the online. I am totally addicted to this game, great job to Rockstar cuz after being let down with the last GTA I thought they were done for me.

honestly, saying its the best western game isnt saying much. how many great western games are there? anyways, this is one of the best games ive played period. im already like 30 hrs in and ive only completed like 63% of the game.

Agreed. One of the best all time games I have ever played. Defintely better than all GTA games.

Man I really need to play this game more but atm Demons souls is taking all my time.

I love this game as well. Best game of 2010 so far that's for sure.

The single player was SUPERB especially for its genre. THe sound quality really captured the west.

As for the Multiplayer i really feel it could have used more effort...as i really thought poker, blackjack, the lasso rope, skinning animals, and at least some kind of Inventory would be included....the videos really misled a lot of people in this aspect of the game.

i dont even like western games but RDR is one of the best games i played this year...i put in in my ps3 and never put it down and im only 3 or 4 missions in its just so many side missions to do.

The only one I can think about is Call of Juarez, but I never played that game so I can't comment on that one lol.

yea i love this game, the treasure hunts are also nice. theres ALOT to do in this game besides the main mission. really really fun, i play this game for hours a day and am still very early in the story.

Yeah, I only heard about this game a day or two before release. After reading some reviews I decided to pick it up and I'm having a lot of fun playing this game.

Yeah, I agree. So far I've played about 14 hours, and I'm addicted to just exploring the amazing western area :D

Absolutely hooked on it here too. So much to do & see, great soundtrack, Fantastic multiplayer and i got the 'Red Dead Rockstar' Trophy!

I've been playing this game this game nonstop since release but I'm only 50% complete. It's a really long game, well worth my $60.

I 100% agree very nice game, actaully in a while.

As am I. I'm really having an incredible time with this game.

No doubt RDR is going to be a strong contender for my GOTY.

I honestly wasn't interested in this game at all at first, but when I saw how many people on my friends list were playing it (along with the awesome reviews it was getting), I decided to pick it up and I'm so glad I did. I even really like the multiplayer, which I didn't in GTA4. Played it with a couple of friends last night for about 7 hours straight, mainly just holding out in a building and seeing how high a bounty we could get. Sooo much fun.

RDR is most definately my favorite Western game of all-time, but it feels too much exactly like GTA IV (which I own along with both Episodes) to warrant another $60 purchase, so I rented it and it was fun, but not worth a buy if you already own GTA4 in my eyes.
