Hi, recently I purchased rocksmith 2014, and in the instructions it says to reduce the audio lag i should seperate my video and audio feed, and they suggested i use hdmi for visual and the standard composite cables for the audio,

my problem is, i cannot find the composite cables anymore as the system is around 6 years old and i have always used hdmi.

Now, the solution i think, I can purchase from my local store those generic component cables, and simply just use the two audio ones,

just double checking to see if it will work.

so basically to sum it up, i will have video thru hdmi as normal, then audio i will have the 2 cables from the compoment pluged into an adapter to change it into a 3.5 mm audio imput jack, then i will plug speakers into that.

will this work??
