Help me justify a purchase

Basically I've been debating on if I should spring for the PS4 or not. I'm not as heavy into gaming as I used to be but I feel like $258 for a PS4 slim and Uncharted 4 (the main reason I want a PS4 honestly) is too good to pass up on, but I don't know if at this point it'll be worth it. I only play NBA 2k16 on my PS3 and I haven't bought a new game in like 4 years man. It's a lot of dope games I want to play but I feel like I'm gonna spend all this money and end up not using it enough.

I don't know why I made this post tbh. Somebody just tell me to do it so I feel better about buying it.

What answers do you expect from a gaming forum? We all will tell you to go out and get it.

I quit gaming over 3 years ago but thanks to many great PS4 exclusive games as well as multi-plats, I just got myself an Uncharted 4 PS4 slim bundle from Amazon for only $245, free shipping, no sales tax. So if you like UC4 and some other games, go for it.

@jjroze: If it was the PS4 launch year? I would understand your hesitant approach on a Console investment.

Back then I was playing my PS3 way more, and enjoying that system over my new shiny PS4. I had a PS4 as it dropped on release, and it was tough finding a game that justified the purchase.

However the amont of games now on PS4, and very good games at that on PS4, is very high.

I recommend doing it, like many have stated. PS4 is a great Console, and it has more amazing games than I have time to play :)

there are mountains of great games to play on the ps4 now. we're in a golden, paradoxical era in that you'd need to be unemployed to have a chance of playing all the good games but then you wouldn't be able to afford them all.

but don't worry about that, in short - buy, buy, buy!

what sort of games would best benefit from a pro? I always assumed fighting games and racing games but I assume open world games might

Just some of the ps4 exclusives, there are more obviously. Also tons of great games are out as well for 3rd party. It's honestly a fucking great time for gaming.

Maybe a break from gaming is the best thing to get you back in to gaming ?
