i found out that it's a bit freeze-y ..and the icons take time to appear. is the ps3 that hard to be dealt with? i'm upset. Sony are better than this low-quality business. i think im gonna go hv some fresh air to chill-out :(

I understand what you're saying, but I've seen an couple of theses threads already saying the same thing. Even my close buddy said the same thing, I'm sure a patch will solve the problem, but it loads pretty good for me. I'm very happy with the update.
My in game XMB is moving fine. The only time it freezes or moves slower than norm is when I am playing R6 Vegas 2, but I think it is due mostly because of the game.
I have no problems with it and am happy to get updates at all. Did we get updates with the original PSX and PS2? I think we should be grateful that they bother updating us to bring a better entertainment experience
On MGO my XMB is lightning fast, but when I play mgs4 it is a litty laggy... I guess it just depends how much memory a game takes up and how much is left for the XMB to opperate.
in-game xmb? I dont have it on my ps3... I got verson 2.36 and it says I have the latest version available. I hit the playstation button and it just brings up the options quit game/controller options/turn off system ect. Am I doing something wrong? lol cause I dont got no in-game xmb
last night i was playing CoD4 online and a buddy messaged me, i pressed the PS button and it froze on me but my game will still running, had to turn it off from the back to restart it.
i got it when it was released.....its funny tho cause i never had any problems with it. It just takes like 2 seconds to load up all XMB icons....other then that it works perfectly fine.
