Gran Turismo - Stupid banning question.

So,

My copy of GT5 arrived this morning, I am just waiting to get home from work to give it a play.

Problem is, 2 seperate people have told me that if I play it before release day, I will be banned from PSN!

I am pretty sure this is complete BS. But could anyone confirm for me whether or not this is true?

The last thing i want is to try and play my game, and get a ban.

i'd just make sure you're logged off of psn to be safe. if you play offline they cant do anythingstarwarsjunky

People in France have it had it for awhile.

I actually have most games one or two days before the original release, my online retail store seems to go the safest way by sending them 2-3 days before release so everyone has it at release. Not once have I had any proiblems with that and we^re speaking of probably over 50 games I got before the release

Havn't Microsoft banned for playing games early before? I'm GTA IV (PC Version) has a release date thing you have to do when you start it up.

It's not that i can't wait.

It's that i have the game and would like to play it.

If i couldn't play it, i would carry on playing brotherhood, but seeing as it shouldn't be a problem, I'll chuck it on.
